Camptonville Prepared (CP!) is an organization of volunteers working to increase Camptonville’s readiness for fire, snow and other emergencies. We are a sponsored project of CCSD, the Camptonville Community Service District. We rely on donations and grants to do our work, which is:
- Providing education and training on fire safety and emergency preparedness
- Encouraging neighborhood organizing and the formation of Firewise USA sites
- Gathering data to help emergency workers in assisting vulnerable residents
- Working cooperatively and effectively with Yuba County Office of Emergency Services, the Yuba Watershed Protection & Fire Safe Council, and other emergency services and agencies
